[Audio] Floyd Mayweather Jr Faces His Toughest Opponent Yet!
Posted by Ryan Bates on 10.31.2009

Floyd Mayweather Jr. didn't quite get what he bargained for when calling in for an interview on XM's Shade 45.

He was immediately confronted by rapper RA the Rugged Man, who clearly showcases himself as a boxing fan and historian as well as a lyricist.

Thanks go out to Brian McNeeley and Darryl Sharpe for sending us this interview!

Please be aware this interview freely uses foul language. (It's XM, they can do it.) May not be appropriate for little ears or ears attached to your boss at work.

This is damn close to the hardest I have EVER laughed. So nice to hear someone call Floyd "in debt" Mayweather live! Awesome fU%&!ng interview! absolutely hilarious! In his voice you can hear that he's scared, and knows he will never be regarded as a true G.O.A.T.

I'm not a huge boxing fan, but this was just awesome! Mayweather is a fuckin' punk.

The guy doing the interview knows his shit. Floyd sounded silly in this interview.

I was rolling when Floyd started ragging on Pacquiao's career. Comparing their competition, Pac's obviously got the more storied career, and he has the chutzpah to say he's the better boxer.

De La Hoya in his prime would have bested Mayweather in his prime. Trinidad would have done the same.

What i dont understand is when floyd beats marquez soundly (someone who gave pac man fits) hes too small thats all you hear, But no one says anything about pac man fighting Oscar who killed himself coming down in weight which is harder than coming up in weight noone says nothing about that

Haha, ahhh Rugged Man. That dude is crazy, he references boxers a lot in his raps, no surprise he knows his shit.

That was freaken awesome. RA knows his shit, and just annihilated Floyd with facts and brilliant retorts. RA spoke for so many of us. It's so easy to see threw Floyds's shit.

It's unfair to compare fighters of yesteryear to todays game. Mayweather is right when he says the sport is more of a business today than it was then. Archie Moore didn't have opportunities that Floyd has, which is why he fought so much.

As far Trinidad or De La Hoya in their primes being able to beat Mayweather is comical. Trinidad was too slow then, and he always had suspect defense and De La Hoya was given a win over an OLD Pernell Whitaker

the only boxers worth mentioning in the same centence as floyd should be cotto, pacquiao and mosley right now.

who gives a crap about whos ducking who- if floyd finally chooses to fight the best p4p or either of the top 2 in his division then id totally regard mayweather as THE G.O.A.T.. and there would be no more questions or doubts about it.

cmon floyd.. pick cotto or mosley - you dont even need to fight pacquiao to be p4p king again!

You have to dethrone the P4P champ before you can claim it.
